Report: West Ham, Manchester United interested in City's Joe Hart

West Ham and Manchester United are both interested in securing the signature of out-of-favour Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart, reports Simon Stone of BBC Sport.

Stone reports that West Ham is a possibility for Hart, while his representatives have also spoken with United. Red Devils boss Jose Mourinho is supposedly "an admirer" of Hart, but intends to keep hold of David De Gea, the clear first-choice at Old Trafford.

Hart spent last season on loan at Torino, as incoming City manager Pep Guardiola made clear he preferred other options between the posts, signing Claudio Bravo out of Barcelona to replace Hart, and adding Ederson from SL Benfica this summer to further shore up his goalkeeping ranks.

Hart's contract at City expires in 2019, and the club isn't looking to send him out on loan again, hoping instead to secure a permanent deal. Should Hart join West Ham, he would immediately replace Darren Randolph between the sticks, and provide wantaway Adrian the chance to return to La Liga.
