Beckham warns NFL: 'Don't think I've ever been as ready as I am now'

Odell Beckham Jr. might just be hitting his stride, which should strike fear into the hearts of NFL defenders.

Speaking Saturday at his youth football camp, the New York Giants wideout said he feels better now than he has at any point in his career.

"I've really been training, and to have these next six weeks and get another opportunity to train, it's going to be great. ... Mentally, physically, spiritually, everything, I just don't think I've ever been as ready as I am now," Beckham said, according to James Kratch of NJ.com.

No player in NFL history has more catches in his first three seasons than Beckham's 288, so it's hard to imagine him getting much better.

Beckham said his strategy for improvement is to strive for small gains.

"Take it one day at a time. get better each and every day. that's pretty much it. I feel like if you do that, if you win the day every single day, who knows where you'll be at the end."
