Carlos Beltran only spent two-and-a-half years with the New York Yankees, but he ended up leaving a legacy in the Bronx.
As part of Sunday's number retirement ceremonies for Derek Jeter, the Yankees introduced a new Monument Park blazer to be presented to every member - an idea spawned by none other than Beltran, who returns to Yankee Stadium this weekend as a member of the Houston Astros.
Therefore, it was fitting that Beltran surprised Jeter - his teammate for just one season, in 2014 - by emerging from the Astros' third-base dugout to present Jeter with his Monument Park blazer, moments after the Yankees officially unveiled his plaque.

Beltran took his celebration of the Yankees captain in a different direction in the second inning, when he hit his 545th career double to chase Masahiro Tanaka from the game and move past Jeter into 32nd place on the all-time doubles list.
