Tottenham Hotspur's apparently unsettled right-back Kyle Walker will be allowed to discuss terms with other clubs if an outfit submits an offer in excess of £35 million, reports The Evening Standard's Tom Collomosse.

The England international was benched for recent tilts against Chelsea and Arsenal, supplementing speculation that Walker's relationship with manager Mauricio Pochettino had hit a low point. Manchester City, which has three senior full-backs out of contract in the summer, is understood to have a strong interest.

Walker, 26, would have his head turned by the monetary benefits of leaving north London. The Sheffield United product takes home £70,000 a week, but could see that double if he joins the likes of City.

Tottenham would've previously not considered selling Walker due to how he's flourished under Pochettino's watch, but his alleged fractured bond with his boss and the performances of Kieran Trippier have weakened Spurs' resolve.

"All 21 players are focused to help achieve the things we want to achieve," Pochettino said Thursday to BBC Sport on when quizzed on the Walker reports.

"I am so calm. The players are calm. It's important that the fans know that the players are calm and we will see at the end of the season whether the rumours are true."

Pochettino and chairman Daniel Levy have made great strides to keep much of the club's talented, young throng together. Out of the 14 players who featured in Sunday's 2-0 ease over Arsenal in the north London derby, 12 of them have contracts which expire in 2020 or later - including Walker. Mousa Dembele's and Jan Vertonghen's deals end in 2019.

Spurs still hold slim hopes of winning the Premier League title with four points between them and table-topping Chelsea. Tottenham travels to West Ham United on Friday before rounding off the season against Manchester United, Leicester City, and Hull City.
