UFC announces 9 events to open 2017

The UFC won't be lightening its workload anytime soon.
The promotion announced nine events scheduled for the first quarter of 2017 on Wednesday's broadcast of "UFC Tonight."
New Yorkers will be treated to their second MMA event in just three months when the UFC makes its first trip to Brooklyn for UFC 209 in February, while Anaheim and Las Vegas will host UFC 208 and 210, respectively.
Also announced were UFC on FOX 23 in Denver - home of UFC 1 - and a Fight Night in Brazil, in addition to previously confirmed visits to Phoenix, Houston, Halifax, and London.
The schedule is as follows:
- UFC Fight Night - Jan. 15 at the Talking Stick Resort Arena in Phoenix
- UFC 208 - Jan. 21 at the Honda Center in Anaheim, Calif.
- UFC on FOX 23 - Jan. 28 at the Pepsi Center in Denver
- UFC Fight Night - Feb. 4 at the Toyota Center in Houston
- UFC 209 - Feb. 11 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y.
- UFC Fight Night - Feb. 19 at the Scotiabank Centre in Halifax, Canada
- UFC 210 - March 4 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas
- UFC Fight Night - March 11 in Brazil (city and venue TBD)
- UFC Fight Night - March 18 at The O2 in London, England
No bouts have been attached to the newly announced events.
