Arizona Coyotes defenseman Michael Stone will not be in the lineup Saturday when his team takes on the Colorado Avalanche.
Coyotes coach Dave Tippett confirmed Stone suffered an upper-body injury Thursday versus the Philadelphia Flyers. Tippett classified the injury as day to day.
Stone missed the first three games of the season with a knee injury that carried over from last season. He underwent knee surgery this offseason to repair a ACL and MCL injury in his left knee.
Stone has tallied three points in four games this season.
