Anthony Gose is headed in the wrong direction, and fast.

The former prospect, who is now in the Detroit Tigers' minor league system, made headlines after he got into an altercation with his Triple-A manager Lloyd McClendon.

Now playing for the Double-A Erie Seawolves, he isn't making many more friends, telling a reporter "I hate all media."

When he was in Triple-A, Gose got into a spat with McClendon during the first game of a double-header and was sent home. After the game, his locker was cleaned out and he failed to show up to the park the next day.

The Tigers decided to demote him to Erie, where he's continued to struggle at the plate.

League PA H SO AVG/OBP/SLG
MLB 101 19 38 .209/.287/.341
Triple-A 206 34 75 .185/.255/.266
Double-A 13 1 3 .100/.308/.100

In 2014, the Toronto Blue Jays traded Gose to the Tigers for Devon Travis in a straight up deal that, in theory, should've panned out for both clubs.

But instead, Toronto got its every day second baseman, while the Tigers got stuck with a troubled outfielder who can't get on base enough to use his blazing speed.
