Alexis Sanchez posts updated photos of horrendously swollen ankle
It has been four days since Alexis Sanchez guided Chile to a repeat Copa America title victory over Argentina, and, if you can believe him, his ankle, which was stepped on during the match, is getting better each day.
Or so he says:

The Arsenal attacker took to Twitter earlier in the week to update his fans on the swollen ankle that eventually forced him off the field, and while it looked swollen, the bruises had yet to settle in, it seems:

The purple bruising - while ugly - is actually a sign of recovery, a silver lining of comfort for Gunners' supporters fearing the worst ahead of the 2016-17 Premier League season.
