Pierre-Paul stars in fireworks safety PSA

New York Giants defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul is the face of fireworks safety in America - whether he wants to be or not.

Once best known as a freakishly athletic edge-rusher, Pierre-Paul's well publicized July 2015 fireworks accident, which cost him part of his right hand, is now his biggest claim to fame.

To help ensure no one else suffers the same fate, Pierre-Paul starred in a new public service announcement for the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission.

The commercial debuted Thursday, just in time for the July Fourth weekend.
