In a video posted on Instagram, world heavyweight champion Tyson Fury announced he suffered a sprained ankle in training, and as such his upcoming rematch with former champion Wladimir Klitschko will be postponed.

The two were scheduled for a rematch of their November 2015 fight - a unanimous decision for Fury - in Manchester on July 9.

"They've said it's not broken, but it's badly sprained and to keep off it for six to seven weeks," Fury said.

"My apologies to everybody. The fight will be on as soon as possible."

Fury's trainer, his uncle Peter Fury, said the fight will still take place in Manchester. He also shared two photos of his nephew's injured ankle:
