Former Mississippi State quarterback Dak Prescott was arrested and charged Saturday for driving under the influence in Starkville, Miss., according to Michael Bonner and Sarah Fowler of The Clarion-Ledger.
Starkville Police Chief Frank Nicholas confirmed the incident to Bonner and Fowler.
Prescott was the Senior Bowl MVP and one of the top collegiate quarterbacks in 2015.
The 22-year-old holds several school records, and completed 66.2 percent of his passes for 3,793 yards and 29 touchdowns against five interceptions during his senior year.
Prior to Saturday's arrest, Prescott was considered to be a potential mid-round pick in the 2016 NFL Draft.
