Wisconsin's Connor Senger leaves program, intends to transfer to UW-Oshkosh
Wisconsin wide receiver Connor Senger has left the program and intends to transfer this season to the university system's school in Oshkosh, according to Travis Wilson of WisSports.com.
His departure from the program was later confirmed by a Wisconsin official, according to Jason Galloway of the Wisconsin State Journal.
Wisconsin-Oshkosh's football program plays in Division III.
Senger, a redshirt sophomore, was originally tabbed as a quarterback with the Badgers, winning the team's Offensive Scout Player of the Year award in 2013 and 2014. He played quarterback for his high school team in Milwaukee, earning an honorable mention in all-state honors in that role.
The former walk-on transitioned to the wideout spot during spring practice earlier this season.
