Report: LSU's Rob Bolden to transfer to Eastern Michigan
Rob Bolden has had a hard time finding the right home. Originally a quarterback for the Penn State Nittany Lions, Bolden transferred to LSU in 2012 when he fell to third string on the depth chart.
Bolden lost out on the battle to be the Tigers backup quarterback in the spring of 2013 and was eventually moved to wide receiver. That wasn't what he had in mind for his football future though, and Bolden is set to transfer again, per Nola.com.
According to Hondo Carpenter of Spartan Nation, Bolden will be transferring to Eastern Michigan where he will once again be a quarterback.
Bolden did not see any playing time with LSU, but when he was at Penn State he became the first freshman quarterback in 100 years to start for the Nittany Lions. He appeared in 20 games with 15 starts during his two years at Penn State, completing 50.3 percent of his passes for 2,045 yards with seven touchdowns and 14 interceptions.
Bolden, a senior who redshirted for the Tigers in 2012, has likely already completed his degree, which would make him immediate eligible to play for Eastern Michigan this season.
