Oregon pulled off one of the most stunning wins of the year Saturday, reeling off 38 straight points on Ohio State to win 41-28 in Columbus and guarantee the Buckeyes a three-loss season for the first time since 2011.
The Ducks played like a team with nothing to lose, as Dan Lanning gambled early and often in the win. A crucial fake-punt conversion late in the second quarter led to a touchdown, and another Lanning risk on the final play of the half gave the Ducks the edge at the break.

The Ducks immediately scored another touchdown to begin the second half and make the lead 10 - an insurmountable number given how rough the Ohio State offense looked with Luke Fahey at quarterback.
The 38-0 scoring run by Oregon is something fans in Columbus haven't seen at home this century.
ALL GAS NO BRAKES ⛽️ Oregon went on a 38-0 scoring run - the highest scoring run against Ohio State at home since 1999! https://t.co/PGrBt7DSGV

Ohio State found itself ranked 12th in the initial CFP rankings this week, but the blowout loss should all but end any chance at a playoff berth in this year's field.
More to come.
