Arch Manning will be back with Texas for the 2026 campaign, his father, Cooper, confirmed to ESPN's Dave Wilson.

Manning was eligible to declare for the 2026 NFL Draft, though officials from the school told ESPN that they expected the quarterback to return.

Manning entered this past season with pundits projecting him to be the likely No. 1 overall pick in 2026. However, his first full-time crack at taking the reins of the Longhorns' offense produced mixed results.

He put up a 3-2 record over his first five starts with 11 touchdowns to five interceptions, but upped his play down the stretch. He went 6-1 over his last seven starts with 13 touchdowns to only two picks.

He also added eight rushing scores over the 2025 season.

The Longhorns went 8-3 this season, falling short of their 13 wins from 2024 when they won twice in the College Football Playoff before losing to Ohio State in the semifinal.
