Report: Nebraska's Raiola expected to transfer

Nebraska quarterback Dylan Raiola intends to enter the transfer portal, sources told ESPN's Pete Thamel.

Raiola will have two years of eligibility remaining after spending two seasons with the Cornhuskers. He passed for 2,000 yards and 18 touchdowns and completed 72.4% of his passes in 2025.

Raiola has started 22 consecutive games since his freshman campaign in 2024. The 20-year-old passer is recovering from a broken fibula sustained in a 21-17 loss to USC on Nov. 1.

A five-star member of the Cornhuskers' 2024 recruiting class, Raiola broke Nebraska's single-season freshman passing record with 2,819 yards to go along with 13 touchdowns and 11 interceptions.

Nebraska head coach Matt Rhule fired the quarterback's uncle, offensive line coach Donovan Raiola, on Dec. 6. Dylan is the son of legendary Nebraska center Dominic Raiola. Dylan's younger brother, Dayton Raiola, decommitted from Nebraska in November.

Dylan Raiola joins DJ Lagway and Brendan Sorsby among quarterbacks with starting experience who are expected to enter the transfer portal this offseason.
