5-star OT Iheanacho commits to Oregon
Oregon made a splash Thursday by landing a commitment from 2026 five-star offensive tackle Immanuel Iheanacho.
The 6-foot-7, 350-pounder picked the Ducks over fellow finalists Auburn, Penn State, and LSU. The Maryland native is the second-ranked offensive tackle and 13th-ranked overall recruit in his class, according to ESPN 300.
"Duck Nation, I'm ready to get to work!" Iheanacho told Rivals' Hayes Fawcett.
He could be Oregon's next elite left tackle after Josh Conerly Jr. was drafted in the first round by the Washington Commanders.
Iheanacho's commitment gives Oregon three ESPN 300 five-star prospects in 2026. The Ducks previously landed tight end Kendre' Harrison (No. 12 recruit) and safety Jett Washington (No. 21). This standout class still features two other top-100 athletes in four-star running back Tradarian Ball and defensive tackle Tony Cumberland.
