Report: Raiders have 'zero interest' in Colorado's Sanders
The Las Vegas Raiders have "zero interest" in hiring Colorado head coach Deion Sanders as their next head coach, a source told The Athletic's Vic Tafur and Tashan Reed.
It was reported earlier this week that Sanders was interested in the role.
Sanders has been the Buffaloes' head coach for two seasons. He posted a 4-8 record in 2023 before a 9-4 campaign this season. The team lost the Alamo Bowl to BYU.
The Raiders have reportedly scheduled interviews with Detroit Lions offensive coordinator Ben Johnson and defensive coordinator Aaron Glenn, Kansas City Chiefs defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo, former New York Jets head coach Robert Saleh, and former Seattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll.
Las Vegas has also reportedly requested an interview with Baltimore Ravens offensive coordinator Todd Monken.
The Raiders fired head coach Antonio Pierce after he posted a 4-13 record in his lone season in Las Vegas. The club is also looking for a new general manager after firing Tom Telesco.
