LSU loses 5-star recruit as top WR Moore decommits
Five-star wide receiver Dakorien Moore is decommitting from LSU, he announced on Thursday.
"After careful and extensive consideration, my family and I have decided that it is in my best interest to decommit from LSU," Moore wrote in a statement. "I want to emphasize that despite this decision, I will not be considering any recruitment offers."

The Texas native originally commited to the Tigers in August 2023. He chose Brian Kelly's outfit over Texas and Oregon.
Oregon, Texas, and Ohio State have been "pressing hard" for Moore, with the Longhorns making a stronger push since he joined the Tigers, according to Billy Embody of The Bengal Tiger.
Moore is the highest-ranked wide receiver and third overall recruit of the 2025 class, according to the ESPN 300. The 5-foot-11, 185-pound receiver instantly becomes the top prospect available, as five-star quarterbacks Julian Lewis and Bryce Underwood - the class' top two players - committed to USC and LSU, respectively.
