Washington's Odunze, Johnson declare for NFL draft

Washington's Rome Odunze is forgoing his remaining college eligibility to declare for the NFL draft, the wide receiver told ESPN's Pete Thamel.

Running back Dillon Johnson also announced he's entering the draft, Thamel adds.

Odunze posted 1,640 yards and 13 touchdowns on 92 receptions as the top receiving option in the Huskies' high-octane offense this past season.

The All-American was one of college football's most consistent threats this year, eclipsing 100 yards 10 times, including a career-high 180-yard explosion against Michigan State.

Odunze finishes his collegiate career with 214 catches, 3,272 yards, and 24 touchdowns. his reception and yardage marks rank second in school history, while his receiving touchdown tally ranks third.

Johnson, meanwhile, dominated Washington's backfield touches. He finished the season with 1,195 yards and 16 touchdowns on 233 carries. Tybo Rogers' 44 carries were the second most on the team.

The 6-foot, 215-pounder spent three seasons with Mississippi State before joining Washington. He totaled 3,447 scrimmage yards and 28 scores in his four years.

The pair join several Huskies who have declared for the draft, including offensive tackle Troy Fautanu and wide receivers Ja'Lynn Polk and Jalen McMillan.
