Clemson cornerback Nate Wiggins is leaving school early and has declared for the 2024 NFL Draft, he told ESPN's Pete Thamel.

"I just feel like it was that time. All the hard work I've put in, I feel like it was time for me to declare," Wiggins said.

Wiggins is projected to be among the top cornerbacks selected in the draft. The 6-foot-2, 185-pound junior flew up draft boards after a productive year for the Tigers in which he showcased his length and speed.

The 20-year-old finished the campaign with 23 tackles, two interceptions, and two forced fumbles.

"I feel like I'm the fastest, and I feel like I'm the most complete corner in the draft," Wiggins added.

Wiggins was a key contributor on a Clemson defense that only allowed 20.2 points per game this season. The Tigers failed to make the ACC championship game with an 8-4 record.
