Texas A&M's Weigman exits win over Auburn with apparent leg injury

Texas A&M quarterback Conner Weigman left Saturday's 27-10 win over Auburn in the second quarter with an apparent leg injury and did not return.

Weigman appeared to suffer the ailment after taking a low hit during a pass attempt. He walked off the field under his own power but had a noticeable limp.

The sophomore passer was taken to Texas A&M's medical tent with 4:33 remaining in the first half before limping back to the locker room, according to Gigem247's Carter Karels.

Weigman completed 8 of 14 pass attempts for 70 yards prior to leaving the game.

Redshirt sophomore Max Johnson replaced Weigman after halftime and was 7 of 11 for 123 yards with a pair of touchdown passes.

Weigman, 20, has thrown for 909 yards, eight touchdowns, and two interceptions through three games. He's also rushed for 69 yards while adding two scores on the ground.
