Colorado head coach Deion Sanders continues to make waves on the recruiting trail, with No. 4 overall prospect Cormani McClain flipping from Miami to commit to the Buffaloes on Thursday.

McClain is ranked as the best cornerback recruit in the 2023 class, per ESPN.

"In my position, I play DB, so 'Coach Prime,' he's the best DB. I just want to be in the same shoes, the same predicament," McClain said when asked to explain why he chose Colorado, per 247Sports.

McClain is the latest star to join the coach at Colorado, following the likes of Travis Hunter, who was the No. 2 recruit in 2022, and Shedeur Sanders, among others.

Colorado hired Sanders as its head coach last December after he enjoyed a three-year run at Jackson State. The former star cornerback posted a 27-6 record during his tenure with the Tigers.
