Alabama adds commitment from 2024 QB Sayin
Alabama added to its quarterback room Wednesday, with Julian Sayin announcing his commitment to the Crimson Tide, according to Greg Biggins of 247 Sports.
Sayin selected Alabama over reported finalists Georgia and LSU.
"Alabama had everything I was looking for," Sayin said. "This was definitely a business decision for me. I know it's not going to be easy, and I know how hard I'm going to have to work, but I'm good with that.
The Carlsbad, California, native is the second-ranked dual-threat quarterback and No. 2 prospect in the state in the 2024 recruiting class on the ESPN Jr. 300.
Sayin said that Alabama's success under center influenced his decision.
"Bryce Young is about to be their third straight first-round pick, and that's pretty impressive," he said.
Alabama now has four verbal commits in the 2024 cycle. Sayin joins five-star cornerback Jaylen Mbakwe among the top pledges in the class.
