Alabama quarterback Bryce Young didn't start Saturday's game against Texas A&M due to a shoulder sprain.

The 5-0 Crimson Tide started the contest with redshirt freshman Jalen Milroe under center while Young was in uniform on the sideline.

Young was considered a game-time decision after sustaining the injury to his throwing shoulder in the second quarter of last week's win over Arkansas.

The reigning Heisman Trophy winner has completed 67.2% of his passes for 1,202 yards and 14 touchdowns against three interceptions this season.

Milroe went 4-for-9 passing with 65 yards and one touchdown in his relief appearance versus the Razorbacks. He also racked up 91 yards and one score on the ground.
