Burton spent his first two seasons with the Bulldogs, amassing 901 receiving yards and eight touchdowns over 22 appearances. He played a key role in helping Georgia snap its 41-year national championship drought, finishing second on the team with 497 receiving yards.
The former four-star recruit received an offer from the Crimson Tide before committing to the Bulldogs in 2019.
The junior pass-catcher will have an opportunity to make an immediate impact with wideouts Jameson Williams, John Metchie, and Slade Bolden all departing the squad.
Alabama has been active in the transfer portal, adding cornerback Eli Ricks from LSU and Georgia Tech running back Jahmyr Gibbs.
