Four-star wide receiver Kevin Coleman committed to Jackson State during the All-American Bowl on Saturday, becoming the second top-60 player to pledge for Deion Sanders this cycle.

"I really stamped my final decision (Friday), Coleman said, according to Steve Wiltfong of 247 Sports. "Really just talked to my parents, told them the decision I was making was to be different to make my own legacy, to make change."

Coleman, who joins No. 2 overall recruit Travis Hunter at the historically Black university, selected the Tigers over finalists Oregon, Miami, USC, and Florida State.

The St. Louis native explained how Hunter's decision to commit to the Tigers impacted his own.

"I had to be different," he said, per 247's Tom Loy. "Travis Hunter is one of my best friends. When he made that move, I been wanting to make that move. When he made that move, I couldn’t leave him alone. I feel like he the best DB, and I'm the best receiver."

The 5-foot-11, 175-pound prospect is the sixth-rated wideout and No. 58 overall recruit according to the ESPN 300 rankings.

Jackson State (11-2) defeated Prairie View A&M 27-10 to win the SWAC championship game in December.
