Ole Miss quarterback Matt Corral was carted to the locker room after getting his leg rolled up on while getting sacked in the first quarter of the Sugar Bowl on Saturday.
Trainers helped Corral off the field and into the injury tent before the Rebels passer headed to the locker room.
The California native exited the contest completing two of six passes for 10 yards with one interception. He also rushed for 17 yards.
Corral returned to the sideline in the second quarter on crutches, appearing to favor his right leg. He is doubtful to return to the game, according to the ESPN broadcast.
Freshman Luke Altmyer stepped in for Corral following the injury, but was unable to lead the Rebels to victory as Baylor won the contest 21-7.
Corral announced in November his intention to enter the 2022 NFL Draft.
The junior quarterback passed for 3,339 yards, 20 touchdowns, and four interceptions this season prior to Saturday's contest.
