Report: TCU's Zach Evans expected to enter transfer portal
TCU running back Zach Evans is entering the transfer portal, according to Woody Wommack of Rivals.
The sophomore tailback rushed for 1,063 yards and nine touchdowns while averaging 7.3 yards per carry in two seasons. He also added 18 receptions for 206 yards and a touchdown.
Evans leads TCU with 648 rushing yards this season. He's averaging seven yards per carry to go along with five rushing scores.
Evans was a five-star commitment of the Horned Frogs' 2020 recruiting class. The Houston native was rated as the top runner in the country and highest-ranked prospect in the state.
The star runner was released out his letter of intent in January 2020 after previously committing to Georgia. It was among one of the highlights of a roller-coaster recruitment for the college star.
