Alabama tops preseason coaches' poll

Alabama is ranked No.1 in the preseason USA Today Sports AFCA coaches' poll released Tuesday, according to ESPN's Mark Schlabach.
The reigning national champions received 63 of 65 first-place votes, with Oklahoma taking the other two. Clemson and Ohio State round out the top four.
The SEC is well-represented with six programs in the rankings. The Big Ten saw five of its members make the list, while the Big 12 finished with four.
No. 23 Louisiana-Lafayette and No. 24 Coastal Carolina also made the rankings, giving the Sun Belt Conference representation in the preseason poll for the first time, according to USA Today's Eddie Timanus.
