USC is used to receiving special visitors at practice, but the Trojans unknowingly hosted a trespasser during their spring practice last week.
A homeless man spent several days inside the school’s football facilities, a USC campus security source told Scott Wolfe of Inside USC. The man reportedly blended in with players so well that he was able to share a jacuzzi, eat in the Trojans’ dining hall, and slept in the L.A. Memorial Coliseum.
It’s unclear how the man gained access to team facilities.
The college-age imposter went completely unnoticed until he attempted to field punts during a practice session. The five-foot-ten person that struggled to catch the ball looked nothing like either tight ends, who both wear No. 87 and are listed above six-foot-four.
A football staffer finally identified the man and security detained him. The same individual has also been spotted at USC's soccer field in the past.
Meanwhile, the Trojans continue to work towards the 2021 season. USC is set to hold its annual spring game on April 17th.
