Alabama plans to have full-capacity crowds at Bryant-Denny Stadium for home games during the 2021 season, Crimson Tide athletic director Greg Byrne announced Monday.

"We are moving forward with plans to have a full stadium in the fall and will monitor medical guidelines as we have all along," Byrne wrote in a tweet.

The news came shortly after the school announced it will return to traditional in-person classes for the fall semester.

Capacity at Bryant-Denny Stadium, which normally seats about 100,000 spectators, was limited to 20% during the 2020 campaign due to health and safety protocols amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

Alabama will kick off the 2021 season on the road against Miami on Sept. 4. The reigning national champions will host Mercer in their home opener the following week.
