The Georgia native produced 35 receptions, 368 yards, and two touchdowns as a freshman for LSU. Gilbert was a five-star signee out of high school and considered the top tight end prospect in the 2020 cycle.
However, Gilbert opted to transfer after his freshman campaign. On Jan. 31, he announced he would attend Florida.
Now, less than a month after announcing his intention to continue his career in Gainesville, Gilbert is searching for his third home in less than two years.
