The passer was given the option of returning for a fifth season, with the NCAA granting all players a free year of eligibility due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Mond leaves Texas A&M as one of the school's most accomplished signal-callers. The senior holds the school record for most passing yards (9,661) and passing touchdowns (71).
He led the Aggies to an impressive 9-1 record in 2020 while tossing 19 touchdowns to just three interceptions, and setting a new career high in completion percentage (63.3%).
