The senior signal-caller led the Fighting Irish to a 10-2 record this past season with signature wins over Clemson and North Carolina. Notre Dame concluded the campaign with a loss against Alabama in the Rose Bowl.
Book became the program’s all-time winningest quarterback after the Fighting Irish’s 45-21 win over Syracuse on Dec. 5 to claim his 30th and final victory with the team.
The 22-year-old walks away from Notre Dame with 8,947 passing yards, 72 touchdowns, and a 63.8 completion percentage over four seasons. He also added 1,517 yards and 17 touchdowns on the ground to cap his career.
