UCF quarterback Dillon Gabriel made history Saturday evening, as he became the first Knights player to throw for more than 500 yards in a game.
The sophomore quarterback completed 35 passes for 601 yards and five touchdowns in UCF's narrow loss to Memphis.
Gabriel also surpassed 5,000 career passing yards Saturday.
The Hawaiian signal-caller broke his previous career highs of 417 yards and four touchdowns, which he'd set in UCF's season-opening win against Georgia Tech.
