LSU quarterback Myles Brennan is doubtful for Saturday's matchup against Florida, head coach Ed Orgeron announced Wednesday morning, according to Brooks Kubena of The Advocate.
Orgeron added that the signal-caller is "pretty bruised up" after a first-half hit taken against Missouri last week.
The junior didn't practice on Tuesday and Wednesday, and Orgeron is hoping he'll return to the practice field on Friday.
The Tigers will turn to freshmen TJ Finley and Max Johnson if Brennan can't suit up. Neither has played a snap this season.
Brennan has passed for 1,112 yards with 11 touchdowns and three interceptions through three games.
He's in his first season at the helm of LSU's offense after the Cincinnati Bengals selected previous starter Joe Burrow first overall in the 2020 NFL Draft.
