Meyer shrugs off USC rumors: 'I think I'm done' coaching
Despite Urban Meyer's retirement from coaching following the 2018 season, rumors persist about a return to the sidelines.
Reports have linked Meyer to the USC job, should the program move on from Clay Helton.
Meyer, who will join the FOX Sports college football studio show that broadcasts from California, reiterated something he said upon his retirement: never say never.
"I learned my lesson long ago. All I'm going to say is I believe I'm done (coaching). I think I'm done," Meyer told Bill Rabinowitz of The Columbus Dispatch.
Meyer took off the headset to become Ohio State's assistant athletic director. It's a much healthier lifestyle considering the arachnoid cyst on his brain remains a factor.
"It's the pressure from yelling - the intensity, noise. It's the intensity that forces the cyst to rupture," Meyer said, explaining the difficulties of coaching with the condition.
