After receiving minimal playing time as a freshman last year for LSU, cornerback Saivion Smith has decided to transfer.
Smith made the announcement Wednesday via Twitter, thanking everyone at LSU for the opportunity to play for the Tigers.
"My parents and I have decided it's in the best interest for my growth as a student athlete and young adult that I transfer from LSU," Smith said.
Smith was formerly the No. 31 recruit in the nation in the 2016 class, finding himself No. 4 on the list of cornerbacks.
