Lane Kiffin's tenure as Alabama's offensive coordinator is over, but he may be part of the program for one more game.
During a radio appearance Monday, Kiffin said there's a chance he will be on the Alabama sideline or in the press box for the national championship game against Clemson.
"We are checking that out," Kiffin told ESPN's Mike and Mike. "We don't know legally whether I can do that."
Kiffin, who is now fully entrenched in his duties as Florida Atlantic head coach, and Alabama mutually parted ways after the Peach Bowl win against Washington. The NCAA has to rule on whether he can be on the sideline with Nick Saban's program, since he's now no longer on the Alabama staff.
