Jim Harbaugh really, really likes Wisconsin's Paul Chryst
Jim Harbaugh's strong personality is known to create friction between him and others in the coaching fraternity, but the Michigan coach seems to have a friend forever in Wisconsin's Paul Chryst.
"If someone can't get along with Paul Chryst, there's probably something wrong with them," Harbaugh said on the Big Ten conference call Tuesday.
Harbaugh's scuttles, so to speak, over the last several years range from calling certain coaches lazy, to rejecting Butch Jones' lunch request and telling him to focus more on his own team, to "Handshake-gate."
Harbaugh said he and Chryst have been friends for 30 years, with their fathers sharing a friendship long before that.
No. 4 Michigan and No. 8 Wisconsin do battle Saturday in a huge Big Ten clash in Ann Arbor.
