Eveld was 3-of-8 for 29 yards as a replacement for Matt Floyd in the blowout loss to Miami (FL).
Eveld competed with Floyd for the starting spot, but the redshirt freshman started against the Hurricanes. The competition should continue through the season and Eveld may see more playing time.
