Texas State pulled out some trickery to beat Ohio in triple overtime Saturday.
On second-and-7, ball on the 22-yard line, Texas State quarterback Tyler Jones hit wide receiver/quarterback L.G. Williams with a lateral pass.
Williams showed off his cannon and hit Jones for the go-ahead touchdown, giving Texas State a 54-48 lead before a two-point conversion put it up 56-48.
Ohio got the ball back and scored, but failed to convert on the extra point, giving the other Bobcats a 56-54 victory.
