Miami walk-on quarterback Tucker Beirne was arrested in Tavernier on Saturday, the Monroe County Sheriff's Office confirmed.
The 19-year-old redshirt freshman was charged with driving under the influence and a felony count of possession of cocaine, according to The Miami Herald's Susan Miller Degnan.
Beirne recently graduated from Christopher Columbus High School in Miami, where he set a school record by throwing for 7,957 career passing yards.
He was not set to play Saturday against Florida A&M.
Miami declined to comment on the matter.
