Ole Miss' Freeze knows 'nothing' about Tunsil's money allegations
Ole Miss head coach Hugh Freeze told reporters Thursday he was as surprised as anyone at the Laremy Tunsil saga that unfolded during the NFL draft.
Tunsil's night began with an old video of him smoking from a bong surfacing on his Twitter account, and ended with him telling the media he received money from the Rebels while playing at the school.
But it all came as news to Freeze:
"I know nothing," he said. "I was shocked living it in real time like everyone else."
Freeze added the school is still investigating Tunsil's comment, and he'll be ready to answer questions once the university presents him with the facts.
"I’m not in the process of the fact-finding," he said. "I’ll be quick to defend us when we know the facts. I don’t at the present time."
