Cardale Jones has proven before to be an interesting Twitter follow, and the former Ohio State quarterback offered more proof of that Monday.
As he continues to prepare for the NFL draft at the end of the month, Jones took to social media with a series of tweets blasting the NCAA:
I'm so happy to be done with the @NCAA and their rules & regulation. They do any & everything to exploited collegiate athletes.

The 2014 national champion wasn't done there:
It's deeper than athletes thinking we should get paid. The @NCAA control our lives with insane and unfair rules.

He closed with a fairly solid question:
Why shouldn't a collegiate athlete be able to use their OWN likeness/brand to benefit themselves but yet the @NCAA can sell there jerseys🤔

Jones brings up some fair points, and he's hardly the first former player to blast the NCAA's practices. Schools and conferences pull in boatloads of money off the backs of players, without them receiving anything other than a scholarship.
At the very least, the messages show Jones has come a long way since his freshman year when he famously tweeted:
"Why should we have to go to class if we came here to play FOOTBALL, we ain't come to play SCHOOL, classes are POINTLESS."
