Grayson Allen on resemblance to Ted Cruz: 'I don't see it'
Duke point guard Grayson Allen has become one of the most visible collegiate players in the nation after a standout campaign in Durham.
Allen's rise to prominence has coincided with the comeuppance of Texas Senator Ted Cruz, who's making a bid for the Republican nomination in the upcoming 2016 United States presidential election.
As it happens, they also bear a slight resemblance each other - so much so that comparisons like the one below litter social media every time Allen takes to the court.
I'm not saying Ted Cruz is Grayson Allen, but has anyone seen them in the same room at the same time? pic.twitter.com/3ePpw5JTeR

The Blue Devils' leading scorer, however, disagrees with the comparison.
"I don't see it. I asked my parents, and they don't see it either," Allen said Saturday in reference to his resemblance to Cruz.
Granted, depending on his political leanings, an affiliation with Cruz might be unwelcome for Allen. But the resemblance is uncanny, and undeniable.
