Cherif Millogo, the No. 8 overall recruit on the ESPN 100 for 2027, announced his commitment to Kentucky on social media Wednesday.

The five-star prospect chose the Wildcats over North Carolina, Texas, Tennessee, Louisville, Arkansas, BYU, and USC. He's the highest-ranked commit of Mark Pope's tenure, according to ESPN's Jeff Borzello and Paul Biancardi.

Millogo is the second-ranked center and joins four-star prospect Ryan Hampton in the Wildcats' 2027 recruiting class.

At 7-foot-5, Millogo will become the tallest player to ever suit up for Kentucky, according to Zagsblog's Adam Zagoria.

"Cherif Millogo is a one-of-one prospect and may be the best NBA prospect in high school basketball," Biancardi told Zagoria.

"With his 7-foot-5 frame, he's the ultimate rim-protector who can make jump shots on the offensive end."
