Arizona freshman Brayden Burries declared for this year's NBA draft, he announced Friday on social media.

Burries is ESPN's sixth-ranked guard and the No. 10 overall prospect in the 2026 class.

The 6-foot-4 guard was a McDonald's All-American and five-star recruit coming out of high school.

Burries had a starring role during Arizona's first Final Four run in 25 years, averaging 16.1 points, 4.9 boards, 2.4 assists, and 1.5 steals across 39 appearances. He ranked 10th in the Big 12 in free-throw attempts (169) and 13th in 3-point field goals (70).

Burries' strong campaign earned him All-Big 12 first-team honors and a spot on the conference's All-Freshman Team.

Fellow Wildcats freshman Koa Peat also declared for the draft earlier Friday.
