Providence guard Garwey Dual was ejected late in overtime during the team's 73-70 loss to Kansas State on Friday after punching Wildcats guard Dai Dai Ames in the face.
With the two jostling for position by the sideline, Dual appeared to take exception to Ames making contact with his face while trying to get open. Dual then approached Ames by the Friars' bench and suddenly struck him in the face, prompting coaches and officials to quickly separate the two.
